What’s up with the GHS choir and A Capella ? Well here it is, the SATB (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) choir has grown like a wild flower and so has the SSA(all women’s) choir. We are changing things up a little bit and trying to get some more responsibility on the students. Instead of always doing slight reading as a group we are starting to do it alone, so the students don’t rely on everyone else. The A Capella is going to try to do more with the community. According to Osborne the Choir director they are doing it to recruit more students to do A Capella is the future years. Thursday November 12th both the SATB and A Capella are going to the middle school to perform for them a couple of Christmas songs, and talk to them a little about the choirs, and A Capella groups, and the Sunday after that we are signing the national anthem at a bandits game.
