Recently there has been a real problem with battery life; whether it be phone, computer, etc., the problem is out there. Some people have portable chargers that hold extra battery life, but that’s still limited. Not to worry.

There are lots of different brands of solar chargers, but I have found the Innoo Tech charger to work the best. It is water-proof, dust-proof, and shock-proof, and also has a  plastic/rubber material the the solar panels have been embedded in. This makes it a whole lot easier to carry without worrying if it will fall and crack the panels.

The charger itself holds 5000mAh of power. The solar charging (which operates separately from regular charging) absorbs 5V/200mA. The through-the-wall charging takes a couple of hours to fully charge. If you were to empty out all the charge and run entirely on solar power, it would take 25-30 hours all together to charge it completely.

There are also other details that make this charger unique.

The charger will charge your phone quicker than a regular wall charger would because it has more of an output charge. When the charger is in sunlight, a green light on the first bar will light up showing you that it is receiving power from the sunlight. Pushing the power button on the right of the charger will show how much battery charge you have (1 bar 25% – 4 bars 100%). 100% of the charger’s battery will charge your phone twice without recharging the charger itself.

Pushing the power button twice will activate the LED flashlight on the right side of the charger. This is very helpful if you were to drop your keys or any other essential item in the dark. This light is the easiest thing to charge with solar power, so you can use it for a long time without worrying about draining the battery very fast.

A hook and a mini USB cord also come with the charger. The pockethook can be used to carry it with you wherever you go. This is a great feature even during school because the charger will also charge off of artificial light. The Innoo Tech charger has two USB ports on it so you can charge two devices at once.
