Greenwood High School has been under construction for a while now, and many wonder what is being built. Greenwood’s new library is currently being built, and this library is very important for our school, teachers, and students. Here is the inside look of this new library! Mrs. James, Greenwood’s librarian, has shown how she feels about this new addition to the school.
Mrs. James was interviewed with questions following the topic of how the library would help our school, and the many advantages it will bring the students. When asked how the new library benefits students, James stated that the library will give students an area to study, while giving kids creative opportunities without being on electronics. James included that the library gives “space for dual credit students.” James also shared that she would like to have a book club and reading groups, and that she might have a conversation about those plans with Mr. Clark!
Everyone likes their space. This new library will open up so much more space for Mrs. James and students. Libraries allow students to experience more ideas, give them access to more resources, and help them practice better study habits. Going to the library could open up more doors for stress relief and reading. Having this library will give these students a more comfortable environment that will help them feel overall more comfortable in school.
