Gator Literary Podcast Releases Sixth Episode
The Gator Literary Podcast is an STLP-sponsored project that brings student literature to life and fosters writing talent by analyzing pieces, giving literary advice, and discussing ideas in famous works.
This week, the GLP released its sixth episode, featuring the voices of Devin Dettman and Christine DiMeo. The episode was kicked off with an excerpt from a short story by junior Abbi Woodcock called “The Passions of War,” followed by a poem entitled “Unrequited Love” by Caleb Cox, also a junior. The show was wrapped up with a discussion about the connection between Fyodor Dostoevsky’s Crime and Punishment and John Green’s The Fault in Our Stars. The episode revolved around the central theme of futility.

The Gator Literary Podcast is all about highlighting student writing, so if you are a Greenwood student (or teacher) and would be willing to submit a piece, you can email it to gatorliterarypodcast@gmail.com. You must include your name and grade level, though pieces can be read anonymously, as long as that has been specified in the email.
