By Eduardo Urvina

On September 19, 2018, the late Gustav Elijah Åhr and Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, aka  Lil Peep and XXXTentacion, had a song in their name released titled “Falling Down.”

“Falling Down” at the time of this writing is trending number one on YouTube with 7 million views. “Falling Down” was made using some samples that Lil Peep made before his death due to an overdose back in 2017. Before being gunned down, XXXTentacion took the samples and added his own verses to them.

Near the end of the song, X talked about how he had wished that he could have watched Lil Peep’s interview and worked with him before his death, because he felt that they had much in common.

“Falling Down” was released by Cleopatra Bernard and Liza Womack, the mothers of both rappers, on Lil Peep’s YouTube Channel. The song has received a lot of love and praise from fans of both rappers and the comment section of the YouTube video is filled with fans talking about how they miss them and praise the song.
