Joey sampled music and sound effects from the shows, movies, and video game consoles that the songs are based off of, some included shows like “SpongeBob SquarePants,” “Dexter’s Laboratory,” and “Lilo and Stitch” are only a few used as samples.

The album tells the story of him and his friends being trapped in TV and the songs tell of their adventures revisiting old kid cartoons and movies. Some are from Cartoon Network like “Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends,” and others are from Nickelodeon like Spongebob.

All of the songs on the album are made to be fun and playful; they are meant to be blasted through a speaker or a pair of headphones. The songs all have a remixed version of the sample and have a trap influence to them, hence the name Joey Trap.

All of the songs are explicit, so if you don’t like that then you should pass but if you don’t care then give the album a listen and see if you like it.
