On Saturday, March 26, the boys team traveled to Franklin-Simpson, with an ending score of 5-2 in Franklin’s favor. Greenwood started off strong scoring one run in the first inning and another in the third, to take a 2-0 lead. Franklin didn’t score at all until the sixth inning, when they scored five runs sealing the win for them.

Continuing after the loss against Franklin, Greenwood (0-7, 0-1) hosted Warren Central at home. The first three innings were uneventful with zero scoring by either team. Central then scored three runs in the third inning, leading into another uneventful three innings.

The final score was 3-0 in Central’s favor. We play Central (4-4 overall, 1-0 District 14) again on the 29th at home for the district double-header, then again on the 31st at Central.   For the Bowling Green Daily News article over the game click here.
