Coach John Calipari led the Cats to an undefeated record all the way up to the final four when they faced the Wisconsin Badgers who then took on the Blue Devils. The Blue Devils then went on to win the championship. Calipari’s Cats also won’t be playing too close to home in this NCAA Tournament. The road to a third consecutive Final Four will have to go through Des Moines and Philadelphia, not Louisville, which is hosting the South Region.

The Kentucky Wildcats are predicted with a 93% chance against Stony Brook. If they win they will advance to the game against either Indiana or Chattanooga with Indiana favored with an 88% chance of winning. Coach Calipari got pretty upset with the news of a No. 4 seed for his team. “I mean, come on, A&M got a three seed. Did we not play a basketball game today?”  Calipari said. The Wildcats have an overall total of 4% chance of winning the tournament. The Wildcats in their future could face off against No. 1 seed North Carolina with a 13% chance of winning the tournament. So far the Cats, with a (26-8) record, and beating No. 3 seed Texas A&M, should be offered a better seed.
