The Gators Boys Tennis team is off to a strong start, topping Allen County Scottsville and Butler County in back-to-back scrimmages.

On March 7, the boys traveled to Scottsville and topped the Patriots, 6-1, winning each match except the top seed. The Gators swept the doubles matches, with the duo of Jake Stovall and Braden Richey winning the second- and third-seed match-ups, while Wesley Fisher and Camden Carver won the top-seed match.

Carver, Stovall, and Richer also won singles matches, dropping a total of three games in those matches.

The next day, Greenwood hosted Butler County at the Swamp, winning 7-2, again sweeping the doubles matches. Top-seeded doubles team Parker Young and Baxter Fee were pushed to a tie-breaker, winning 10-8.

In singles match-ups, seeds 2-5 won, with Will Parks, Isaac Hyman, Landon Gann, and Chris French notching victores.
