The world is a very crazy place and for a lot of people, and movies bring comfort. Movies can allow you to feel that you are in a different place than where you actually are. I have watched movies and have become so emotionally involved because of the way that they make it feel so real. This was a very difficult decision to make because I am a movie lover. But these movies are the ones that I can watch forever, without getting bored. 

1. Grease 

This is my all time favorite movie because it is so well-made and it just brings me joy! Quiz me because I can say this movie word-for-word!!

The Sandlot is my second favorite movie because of how fun it makes me feel. This makes me feel like I am a part of the team with them- I wish I lived during this time!!

• 10 Things I Hate About You

I absolutely love this movie. Heath Ledger was an amazing actor and this movie brings back good memories because I always watched it while I baked a strawberry pie!

• Elf

This is the BEST Christmas movie ever made, so I think that it deserves to make the list. I don’t think that this needs much explanation because Buddy is the ideal character!!

• The Notebook

This is the classic Romance movie. Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams work so well together and this movie never fails to bring you so many emotions. (If you have seen this, than you know that you can’t get enough!)

• Toy Story

This is forever one of my favorite Disney movies because of all of the small details that it contains! This movie just makes me think of Disney world, so I love it.

• Mary Poppins

Classic movie with Julie Andrews. The music in this movie is just so good and it makes you feel as if you are stepping in the movie yourself. This is also very nostalgic.

• Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

I love this movie because it is just a new way of finding fun in life. I have been compared to Ferris Bueller a few times because of our spontaneity and because we are both enneagram 7s. This movie is so much fun and I wish I was singing in a parade!!

The Princess Bride 

I remember watching this movie when I was just a little girl. I love how it changes from adventure to romance so easily. This movie is definitely one of the best movies ever made. Almost “inconceivable.”

• The Sound of Music

I love musicals, and this one is one that I never get tired of watching. It’s a classic movie with young Julie Andrews and the music is so good. I can sing the songs all day!!

1. Jurassic Park 

Ugh- this is such a good movie. I was Ellie for Halloween this year. This movie makes you want to buy a Jeep and go to the jungle to find dinosaurs. Such a great movie and the theme song is ICONIC.

• High School Musical 2 

I have watched the High School Musicals since I was really young. Although I love all 3 movies, the second one dominates. The music is exquisite and it makes me want to get up and dance.

• The Help

I absolutely love this movie (and the book!!) This gives you a better understanding of how life was back then. This movie is sentimental, humorous, and emotional. I have had a few people say that I remind them of Skeeter, and I love that. This is one of my favorite movies ever!

• Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle

I absolutely love this movie because it has so much humor. It is hilarious, but it’s also filled with adventure and romance. It makes you want to become a character, and the big picture also teaches you life lessons.

• Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe

This movie makes me so happy because it has so many Christian morals. This movie is interesting the whole time and it brings back lots of nostalgia. I love C.S. Lewis and his book coming to life is so cool. It doesn’t get boring for a single minute.
