School shootings are some of the most tragic deaths not only because some children die from it but because the person that did the shootings had a reason. The reasons were often because the child was getting bullied.

There have been so many tragic shootings that have been recorded in the past 10 years. According to Everytown, a gun violence prevention group, “The United States is not the only country with mental illness, domestic violence, or hate-fueled ideologies, but our gun homicide rate is 25 times higher than other high-income countries.”

What are shootings often caused by? Most of the shootings are caused by bullying or just because they don’t value life. The U.S. Secret Service studied recent school shootings and found the number 1 reason most school shootings occur is because they want to get back at those who have harmed them. Bullying needs to stop. Bullying is not okay and it often may cause more problems than just school shootings. Our world is very messed up.

I think that if you are bullying someone you should get in trouble and if you see someone getting bullied then tell. It could change a person’s life and it could decrease the number of shootings. To all parents out there, please ask whatś wrong if you see your child acting differently in a bad way.

I don’t like how it’s easy for young teens and young children to get guns. It’s easy for them because their parents either have them and they aren’t locked up or because they have people that’s providing them with the gun to do what they are going to do. I think that a law about being able to not own a gun without a license should be pasted.

I think people should be able to have assault rifles but they should just keep them out of reach of children. If guns were locked up then It could also decrease the number of school shootings. There have already been 7 school shootings and it’s only the second month of 2020. There were 48 school shootings in 2019. These numbers need to decrease. To all parents out there that have guns please keep them locked away.
