On Monday February 10, 2020, people from all over the world and many from our own school participated in the global trend of making our brooms stand up on their own.

The trend originated from a famous tweet that made the statement that Monday was the only day in the year when your broomsticks could stand up on its own, claiming NASA had said that it was because of the gravitational pull of the Earth. NASA never made any official statements about this being true but the tweet still gained quite a bit of attention.

NASA astronaut Alvin Dre had debunked this statement, proving that this can happen all year long and that it’s not just one day. Everyone still had a fun time testing this theory with their friends and I even got some screenshots of my own friends who tried it.
