Swim+Team+Celebrates+Seniors

The Greenwood Swim Team recognized their four senior swimmers at the recent ceremony. All four seniors have ambitious plans for the future and have had very successful careers as Greenwood swimmers.

Katie Levesque

Q: How long have you been swimming?

A: “I joined swim and dive this year.”

Q: What is your greatest swim accomplishment?

A: “I’ve dropped 7 seconds in my 50 free and have raised my dive score to 98.65 points.”

Q: Where are you going to college/what are your plans for the future?

A: “I’m going to Brescia University to major in Elementary Education.” 

Allison Zinobile 

Q: How long have you been swimming?

A: “I have been swimming for 15 years and 6 years for Greenwood.”

Q: What is your greatest swim accomplishment?

A: “My greatest accomplishment is setting the region record for the 400 freestyle relay in 2017 with Avery Witcher, Ashley Spiller, and Maggie Gholston.”

Q: Where are you going to college/what are your plans for the future? 

A: “I have yet to decide on a college yet, but I will be studying biology.” 

Maiah Cisco

Q: How long have you been swimming?

A: “I have been swimming for about 10 years in all. Since the 7th grade for Greenwood-six years.” 

Q: What is your greatest swim accomplishment?

A: “My greatest accomplishment is making it to state every year since I started in the 7th grade for Greenwood.”

Q: Where are you going to college/what are your plans for the future? 

A: “I’m deciding between Louisville, UK, and Western. I want to major in business and go into law school.” 

Lily Simpson

Q: How long have you been swimming?

A: “I started swimming when I was 10 and joined Greenwood’s team in seventh grade.”

Q: What is your greatest swim accomplishment?

A: “I placed third in region in the 200 IM and and made it to state in a relay.”

Q: Where are you going to college/what are your plans for the future? 

A: “I am going to WKU and majoring in Interior Design with a minor in business.”
