• Auditions will be on Saturday, November 17 @ Warren East HS
• Registration/Check in begins at 9:00am and ends at 10:00am. There is a $7.00 autition fee

Scales and Rudiment Requirements for the 9-10 Grade

9-10 Wind Instruments and Mallets

Concert G, C, F, Bb, Eb, Ab

Chromatic Scale (2 octaves)*

*Octave choice is at the discretion of student

9-10 Percussion – Snare Drum (Prepared music for Snare drum includes Multi-Percussion etude)

Rolls: Long roll, 5-stroke, 7-stroke, 9-stroke, 11-stroke, 13-stroke, 15-stroke, 17-stroke Single paradiddle, double paradiddle, triple paradiddle, single paradiddle-diddle

Flam, flam accent, flam paradiddle, flam tap, flamacue

Drag, single ratamacue, single drag tap, lesson 25, double ratamacue, triple ratamacue

11-12th Grade All District/ 1st cut of All State Band

• Auditions will be on Tuesday, November 13 @ Warren Central HS
• Registration/ Check in begins at TBA (4:30-5:30)/ There is a $7.00 Audition Fee
• Perform Prepared excerts, scales (from the All State Band Scale sheet) and sight reading

***All students auditioning for the All State Band regardless of grade need to audition at the 1st cut on Tuesday, Nov. 13 @ WCHS. The final cut audition will be at John Hardin HS on December 8, 2018

*All students selected for the All District Band will participate in the All District weekend @ WKU from Jan. 3-5. Exact schedule TBA
