Two Killed in Shooting at Kroger in Louisville

By Jacks Lancaster, Reporter

On October 24, Gregory Bush, 51, decided to pull the trigger on two African American senior citizens.

Around 3 PM last Wednesday, Maurice Stallard and Vickie Jones lost their lives in the Jeffersontown Kroger in Louisville. Gregory Bush entered the Kroger and fired multiple rounds into Stallard. He then exited the store and fired several rounds into Jones. Both of them were killed on the spot.

After Bush shot Jones, an armed bystander fired back at Bush causing him to flee the scene. As he was fleeing, there were reports of another bystander confronting Bush. They had a standoff, but Bush said,”White don’t kill whites”, and proceeded to flee.

As he was fleeing though, he was caught by the police.

Prior to the actual shooting, Bush is seen on a surveillance camera attempting to enter a predominantly African American church. After his unsuccessful attempt on gaining access to the church, Bush moved on to the nearby Kroger.

He is now held on a $5 million bail.

This shooting is suspected to be a hate crime towards the African race. Bush is thought of to be a white supremacist.
