NJROTC Marches in Bowling Green’s Veteran’s Day Parade

By Raegan Jones, Reporter

On November 10, Greenwood’s Battalion and Color Guard will be presented in Bowling Green’s Veteran’s Day parade.

The parade will begin on College Street beginning at 6th Street and ending at the intersection of U.S. 31 West Bypass and 1st Street.

All of the Warren County ROTC programs will be attending the parade to feature their school and the branch they represent. Since Greenwood’s ROTC program is formatted like the Navy, the color guard representatives will be carrying the Marine Corps, the Navy, and the Coast Guard flags.

In total, there will be eight people in the color guard, carrying six flag and two rifles. If the line-up remains the same as it was last year, the ROTC programs will be in the front of the parade.

Within the battalion (everyone in the ROTC program), the high-ranking cadets will be shown in the front of the group as the rest of the cadets will file in by height.  The color guard will proceed in front of the battalion.
