Hackers Once Again Targeting Facebook Users

Facebook recently had a massive attack on it’s user’s personal information. Thirty million Facebook users had their personal data accessed by hackers.

Information like emails and phone numbers were accessed by the intruders. More detailed information was accessed by the hackers. About fourteen million of the thirty million users had detailed information like their address, search history, religion, etc.

The thirty million people that were affected by the breach will be receiving emails from Facebook about the breach. They will also be posting information to their help center, for any other breaches they’re are aware of.

The attack prompted Facebook to log out a fifty million users that were affected by a attack before. The attack before had hackers logging into the Facebook users accounts. Facebook as a precautionary measure also logged out another forty million users.
