Calendar Girl is Almost Here

By Elnara Muradova, Reporter

Every year girls compete in a “pageant” called Calendar Girl at Greenwood.

The girls compete in two categories: casual and formal wear. Each contestant needs to pick a boy to escort her.

Contestants will be asked three questions; What is your opinion on social media? Do you think it helps or hurts our society? What is a time where you overcame defeat? If you were judging this pageant which characteristics would you look for in a young woman when choosing a winner?

There will be three or four judges at the front of the stage. The judges will score contestants based on stage presence.

You can get forms that include information about Calendar Girl from Mrs. Steele, Mrs. Blankenship, or Mrs. Jenkins.
