What Yearbook is all About

By Elnara Muradova, Reporter

Yearbook is an elective class that students take at Greenwood. In the class, you learn about how the yearbook is organized and how the pages are made. You also learn about business communication by doing things such as calling stores for advertisements. You also learn about photography and how to use a camera and edit pictures. You are required to go to at least three games and take pictures.

Last week, there was a guest speaker that came and showed the students how to make a page for the yearbook and all the different things you can include into the page. The students played around with all the features in the website and started practicing making pages. Currently, everyone is working on their own individual page for the yearbook.

Ms. Lyles, the yearbook teacher, assigns everyone a page to do for the yearbook. For example, she can assign someone the clubs page, so the person would have to create a page for all the clubs at Greenwood. It is also important to include the students who are affiliated with their topic.

At the end of the year, students that are in yearbook get to go to Holiday World. This is only if you meet Ms. Lyle’s standards that qualify you to go.
