The Effects of Cell Phones

Over the years phones have quickly become very popular all around the world. Of course they’re handy and can make life easier but they have there drawbacks too. Cell phones have mostly had an effect on teens which is causing a lot of controversy if teens should even own a phone.

Most people say everyone should have a cell phone, that everyone “needs” one to get through life. Others argue that only adults should have them for work. Phones have definitely become more important and popular but both sides to this argument make good statements.

One negative thing a phone can do it make it harder for you to fall asleep from the blue light the phone emits. Most people feel that they can’t live without their phone, 44% of cell owners have slept with their phone next to their bed because they wanted to make sure they didn’t miss any calls, text messages, or other updates during the night.

While the prolonged use of cell phones can cause some minor physical ailments, the mental effects of phone use are much more serious, including depression and anxiety.  mobile phones are a major part of society.

a more positive part of having a phone is It eases communication with colleagues, friends and relatives by just a click of a button.

Phones are like a laptop in your back pocket so if you have a last minute assignment due or need to check an email you can easily access that from your phone.
