Cannabis (marijuana as most of us know it) is mainly used for medical purposes. Medical marijuana is now legal in 29 of the states.

Cannabis can help to treat lots of conditions such as:

-Nausea

-PTSD

-Chronic Pain

-Epilepsy

-Glaucoma

-Muscle Spasms

-Anxiety

That being said, there are people who smoke marijuana recreationally. They do this because it makes them feel relaxed, lightheaded, and or faint. Symptoms of intake of marijuana include; your sight and hearing perceptions increase, you have a hard time remembering things that just happened, you’re appetite increases, you feel relaxed, you become more silly for no reason, your eyes turn red, loss of coordination, and sometimes you feel happy and joyful. Other side affects that you might experience after smoking marijuana include dizziness, drowsiness, impaired judgment, dry mouth, accelerated heartbeat, and vomiting.

Although marijuana has benefits, marijuana can also be harmful. Marijuana can affect your mind, lungs, and mental health. It is also believed that smoking marijuana kills brain cells.

When you inhale marijuana smoke, the drug is quickly released into your bloodstream and makes its way to your brain or other organs.
