Injuries Bring Change to the Football Team

By Jacks Lancaster, Reporter

The football team is taking a change of positions. Recent injuries have made a big blow to the team.

The first player to be majorly injured is fullback Triston Wilson. He is a big part of the team. During the first quarter against Warren Central at WKU, he tore a ligament in his knee.  As he was running the ball, he was tackled, and when he landed on his back, his PCL tore.

Reed Slone, the starting halfback, is also a big aspect to the team. About two weeks ago, he pulled his hamstring.

Due to these injuries, positions will be played by different players. Starting quarterback Zach Langevin will fill in as running back.

For the new quarterback, sophomore John Morrison will take over. This won’t be his first varsity playing time.
