My Top 5 College Basketball Players

By Kouta Suzuki, Reporter

The upcoming college basketball season is filled with a lot of young talented players. But there 5 speacific outstanding players in my opinion that can take their team and their talent to a whole new level.

5. Nassir Little,SF, UNC, Freshman

Nassir Little is a very versatile both offensively and defensively. Little will give any defender nightmares and is very good at blocking anybody that comes in the paint. Little is a 6-foot-6 small forward but dominates like a 7-footer.

4. Rui Hachimura,F, Gonzaga, Junior

Rui Hachimura is a 6-foot-8 monster. Hachimura has a 7-foot-2 wingspan, he can also shoot and get his teammates involved by making really good passes. With his size and ability to handle the ball, he will be scoring 20 plus points every night. I think Hachimura is one of the most underrated players coming into this season.

3. Cameron Reddish,SG, Duke, Freshman

Cameron Reddish is easily a top 5 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. He is very versatile offensively and defensively. Every time you need a bucket just give the ball to Reddish. Cam Reddish will probably be the second scoring option for Duke this upcoming season

2. Zion Williamson,PF, Duke, Freshman

Zion Williamson has been known for his amazing dunks and blocks. In high school Williamson averaged 32 points per game. He is a 6-foot-7, 285 pound power forward who can run, shoot, block, dunk, etc. Williamson is expected to be a top 5 pick in this upcoming NBA Draft

1. RJ Barrett,SF, Duke, Freshman

RJ Barrett is a 6-foot-7 monster. He can do it all whether it’s dribbling, scoring, rebounding, passing, etc. Barrett has played on Canada’s national team and averaged 18.5 points. Barrett is expected to be the primary scorer for Duke this year. He is also expected to go number 1 or 2 in the NBA Draft.
