On April 10, the Gators traveled to South Warren High School to participate in the Southern Kentucky Conference track meet. While there, the boys and girls teams competed against opponents from Warren East, Warren Central, Bowling Green, South Warren, Butler County, Logan County, and Franklin-Simpson.

The meet was very successful with both boys and girls finishing in third place. The girls scored a total of 101 points, and the boys scored 104 points. The male and female athletes of the meet were announced yesterday after the meet concluded.

Senior Michael Hathaway scored 25 points to lead the boy’s team in scoring: first place in the long jump and the shot put, and fourth place in the triple jump. Ashlyn McGehee, also a senior at the Swamp, scored a team-high of 18 points. She placed first in discus and second in shot put.
