Get your dresses and tuxes on, Greenwood, and get ready for une soirée à paris (an evening in Paris). This year’s prom is taking place on April 29 from 8-11 p.m at the Carole Knicely Conference Center. Single tickets are $25 this year and couple tickets are $50. Tickets will go on sale the Monday after we get back from Spring Break at lunch. Out-of-School date forms can be picked up and filled out at this time as well.

The Paris theme was chosen out of four total themes. The Prom Committee gets together each year and throws out ideas for prom. One member has to give a presentation about what each of the themes would look like and the rest of the members then vote on which theme they like the best.

Half of the money from the tickets goes towards the venue, which is booked three years in advance, the catering, the decorations, the favors, and the DJ, DJ Ron.

Mrs. Kessler says that prom “will be lots of fun, so come.”
