Riddle Me This

- My head and tail both equal are, My middle slender as a bee. Whether I stand on head or heel Is quite the same to you or me. But if my head should be cut off, The matter’s true, though passing strange Directly I to nothing change.
What am I? - Within, I clean all that is bad and is old. I make juice that’s the color of gold. Should I die, a filter machine would you need assembled To replace me, and beans I resemble.
What am I? - Marking mortal privation, when firmly in place. An enduring summation, inscribed in my face.
What am I? - I move without wings, between silken strings, I leave as you find, my substance behind.
What am I? - I am not alive, but I grow; I don’t have lungs, but I need air; I don’t have a mouth, but water kills me.
What am I? - I am a rock group that has 4 members, all of whom are dead, one of which was assasinated.
What am I? - I can be cracked, I can be made. I can be told, I can be played.
What am I? - Until I am measured, I am not known. Yet how you miss me, When I have flown.
