Clayton Mattison
An interview with Clayton Mattison has recently taken place. Clayton Mattison is the Varsity starting goalie on the soccer team as a sophomore. He was asked a few questions:
Q: How long have you been playing this sport?
A: I have been playing for 3 years now.
Q: Do you like to play any other positions besides goalie?
A: I like forward, because honestly I know I have the best shot on the team.
Q: What do you mainly do to train for soccer?
A: I do drills twice a day out of practice, and I watch film, mainly to correct my mistakes.
Q: So districts are coming up, how far do you think you’ll get?
A: I would say semi-finals at least, because Bowling Green is our second game and their pretty tough to face.
Q: How do you like Coach Llontop?
A: He’s pretty cool, smart, and overall a good coach.
Q: Who’s the toughest team you all have faced this year?
A: Definitely Dupont Manuel or St. Xavier.
The next boys soccer game will commence tomorrow night at Greenwood facing South Warren at 7 P.M.
