Louisville Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular
September 25, 2015
Its getting close to Halloween which means we should get ready to have fun with our family/friends by going to events that celebrate this holiday. One perfect idea is to go to the Louisville Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular. On October 8-November 1 you can head over to Iroquois Park in Louisville and walk through a lit pathway of amazing artwork carved into over 5000 pumpkins. With the pumpkins hanging from trees and surrounding the area around you the entire ¼ mile walk, it creates a nice, peaceful atmosphere with themes such as different time periods in history or entertainment such as movies or well known celebrities. Tickets are around $12-$15 for adults depending on the day, $10-$13 for seniors and $9-$12 for kids 3-12. On Fridays, kids less than 3 years old can enter free.
From a personal experience, I can say that although the line was long (about 1 ½ -2 hours), it was still an amazing show to walk though and spend time with my family . I think it was worth the wait and anyone who thinks they would enjoy this, should definitely go check it out.
