This Year’s Brightest Supermoon Is Approaching
April 3, 2020
Next Tuesday, April 7, we can experience viewing a pink Supermoon. Out of the three Supermoons that will happen this year, this one will be by far the largest and brightest to see.
The reason for the enhanced moonlight and size is due to the oval orbit the moon follows. The moon will be at its closest point to earth thus making the size near 14% bigger and 30% brighter than an average full moon.
The most ideal time to gaze at the Supermoon is right after a moonrise or before the moonset. The upcoming Supermoon will be a nice sight, so you can look forward to something interesting. Sky-watching can be an enjoyable activity if you’re remaining indoors.
