Brazil is the world’s fourth largest democracy. Many right-wing politicians across the world, including Trump, have spoken positively about Bolsonaro. He is a strong advocate for his campaign slogan, “Brazil before everything, and God above all,” and has an anti-corruption and anti-crime platform.
