Choir Department Raises $2000 in Gala Silent Auction and Performance

On August 25th, a gala and silent auction was hosted in the cafeteria to fund raise for Greenwood’s three choirs: the beginners’, SSAA women’s, and SATB mixed choir. Soloist and small groups performed songs of their choice, as well as the acapella group. The choirs performed three songs each, and a combine performance with the women’s and mixed choir. Around $2000 was raised from the auction, and will be put toward buying music, choir attire, and other essential items needed for performances.
