October 11, 2018
Rockstar Games a video game titans founded in 1998, is releasing a well anticipated sequel to one of the best western game out there Red Dead Redemption 2. Rdr2 is a open world western style game with some RPG elements incorporated into it and it’s set to be released on October 26, 2018, and it’s being hyped up to the max, from trailers, articles, details being teased, and much more. If you where to check on the official Rockstar twitter you will see them update their fans with details on the things they have done so far and what’s to come, plus some concept art and in game screenshots of the game.
Promotion of the game
The official twitter of Rockstar Games post some of the things that are expected to come. for example in this tweet they talk about how fishing and hunting are in the game and how they will be a big part of making money and survival, other tweets are about the environment it’s going to create and so on. The game hasn’t just been promoted of their twitter but they have also uploaded multiple trailers and gameplay videos on their YouTube channel, and they have been having mini events in their other game Grand Theft Auto Online where you would do small missions to unlock in game rewards for both games.
Will it deliver?
Rdr2 is one of the anticipated games of the year, which is why it has a lot on the line. Rockstar has been talking about how the game has a lot of things in it and they even claimed that it has so much that when installing it you would need about 100 GB to play it. Now if Rdr2 failed, people would loos their minds and the game would fall off faster than sea of thieves did, this would be very bad because their last release Grand Theft Auto V sold over 100 million copies and that was released almost five years ago. A lot is expected to be delivered from Rdr2, if it delivers we’ll have to find out on October 26th.
