Kentucky has been a let down for UofK fans for about the past ten years in the school’s football program. They have been struggling until now.

In the past 10 seasons, Kentucky has had a positive record for only 5 of those years. In 2012 and 2013, they had a poor record of 2-10.

That has changed this year. Kentucky has a startling record of 4-0 and is 2-0 in the SEC for the first time since 1977.

This past Saturday, Kentucky took down No.14 Mississippi State in a routine win with a score of 28-7. The week before, they defeated Florida 27-16. That ended their 31 game/year losing streak against the Gators.

In their game against Mississippi State, running back Benny Snell Jr. took control of the game. He rushed for 165 yards, 540 for the season total, and scored each of Kentucky’s four touchdowns.

In their upcoming game on Saturday, they are to take on South Carolina. They have won the last four years against the Gamecocks. The Wildcats are hoping to keep the streaks alive, so they can climb the ladder in the SEC.
