Top 10 NBA Players Going Into The 2018/19 Season

The best players in the NBA are coming and going as new seasons start and end. Here is my top 10 players coming into the 2018/19 season.

10. Klay Thompson 

Klay Thompson has been in the league since 2011 and has established himself as one of the best shooters in the league. Klay has won the 2016 3-point challenge at the all-star game, beating his teammate, Stephen Curry and many other great shooters in the NBA. Klay is a 3 time NBA champion and a 4 time all-star.

9. Giannis Antetokounmpo 

Giannis Antetokounmpo came in the league from Athens, Greece and will most likely go down as one, if not the best, international player this league has seen. He led the Milwaukee Bucks to the playoff where they lost to the Celtics in 7 games, but racked up tons of points, assists and rebounds. He a 2 time all-star and won most improved player a couple years back.

8. Kyrie Irving 

Kyrie is know as the man with the best handles in the league. He is a 1 time NBA champion and is a 5 time all-star and has also won the 3-point contest at the 2014 all-star weekend. He was injured before the playoffs but is set to start as point guard for the Boston Celtics this season.

7. Russell Westbrook

Russell Westbrook is an explosive, high-energy point guard who plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder. He has won the MVP in 2017 and has been an all-star 7 times. He has taken a slight dip in stats since his teammate, Paul George, arrived last year but is still one of the best point guards in the league.

6. James Harden

James Harden is the starting shooting guard for the Houston Rockets and is most known for his Euro-step and step-back. He has won the MVP this past NBA season and has been to the all star games 6 times and won 6th man of the year early in his career and has led the rockets to the Western Conference Finals this past playoffs.

5. Stephen Curry 

Stephen Curry is the best shooter in the league and some even think that hes the best shooter of all time. He has won the NBA championship 3 times and won the MVP twice and has been to the all-star games 5 times as he also won the 3-point challenge multiple times.

4. Anthony Davis

Anthony Davis is the starting power forward (Sometimes center) for the New Orleans Pelicans. He was nominated for the defensive player of the year, which he didn’t win, but had the best season in his career this past year. He has been an all-star 5 times and won the all-star MVP once. Anthony led the Pelicans to sweep the Trailblazers in the playoffs this past season.

3.  Kawhi Leonard

Kawhi Leonard is know around the league the be very quiet and has the nickname “The Claw’ due to his big palms which allows him to palm the ball easily. Kawhi is a 1 time NBA champion where he also won finals MVP and he’s the youngest to win that award. Kawhi has been to the all-star games 3 times.

2. Kevin Durant 

Kevin Durant the starting small forward for the Golden State Warriors and has helped them win 2 NBA champions. He has also been to the all-star games 9 times and has won the regular season MVP once. Kevin is lethal on both offense and defense and if feared across the league.

1. LeBron James

LeBron James AKA The Chosen One, is the staring small forward for the Los Angeles Lakers as of this coming season. Some believe that LeBron is the best player to ever play in the language above Michael Jordan. LeBron has 3 rings and 4 MVP and 10 all-star appearances. LeBron signed with the Lakers this off season from the Cavilers, since he was unsuccessful his last two years with the team.
