Smokey

Smokey is a tiny little dog with a giant heart.

This 12-year-old Chihuahua mix is currently at the BGWCHS and she is a real sweetheart. She weighs barely more than a newborn human baby and her adorable little head is smaller than an orange, so she’s quite frail, but that doesn’t stop her from being friendly and optimistic. Even though she sniffles and shakes all the time, she always has a smile on her face about as big as her whole head. She can get a bit scared when people first walk up to her, but that’s mostly because she’s so little that people of any size tower over her. Once you start petting her and talking to her, however, she starts smiling again.
