Petey

Petey is a great buddy.

Petey is a 1-and-a-half year old Shepherd mix at the BGWC Humane Society. He is friendly and energetic, always ready to make new friends. At some point, he must have seen people hugging other people and thought it looked like fun, because when he meets somebody he likes, he stands up on his two back legs and wraps his front legs around the person in a big hug. Petey also seems to think he’s a lap dog, because he loves to curl up in people’s laps and be pet, even though he’s a bit too big for it.

Petey is also an outdoor dog. Though he loves people more than anything, he enjoys running around outside as well, sniffing the flowers and rolling in the grass. He likes other dogs as long as they’re smaller than him, but sometimes he gets a bit too excited, so it’s better that he doesn’t hang out with too many dogs at one time.
