Missy & Leviya

Missy and Leviya are two good friends who are complete opposites.

Missy, a brindle Aussie mix, is shy but sweet. She is a little wary of new people and can close up pretty fast around sudden movements or loud noises. However, if you sit down with her and take the time to slowly introduce yourself to her, she is very loving. At first when you start petting her, she might seem scared or uncomfortable, but if you stop she will nudge your hand until you keep petting her. So although she’s a little hard to read at first, she has a lot of love in her heart that she just wants to share with others.

Leviya, on the other hand, is a diva. This Corgi-Lab mix is an affectionate, extroverted love bug, who just wants to play with everybody. Upon first meeting people, she will give them a quick sniff-over and then roll on her back her a belly rub. And if you don’t rub her belly, she’ll climb into your lap and sit on you until you do.

Though these two are polar opposites, they work well together. Missy had to be surrendered up by her old owner because her owner couldn’t care for her due to age, and though it was a hard decision, Missy doesn’t know this, so she is clearly devastated by the thought of being given up. However, Leviya’s extroverted spirit encourages Missy to open up and make new friends. And in return, Missy is a great play buddy for Leviya.

Believe it or not, neither of these utterly lovable girls has a home. Somehow, no one has recognized how sweet and affectionate they are, or else surely they would have gotten adopted by now.
