Dolly
There’s no better way to start a new year than with a celebration story! Meet Dolly, a Yellow Lab and Welsh Corgi mix recently adopted from the BGWCHS. Dolly is an absolute sweetheart, but she often comes off as shy because she is easily scared by certain things.
Dolly has soft, silky fur, and she loves to getting treats and being pet. She is very well-behaved, and she doesn’t bark or snap. However, she is a bit shocked by all the sudden changes, so she often freezes and cries when people try to put a leash on her or when other dogs bark at her. But all she really needs is a little love and patience in order to rebuild trust and a sense of security.
Dolly was surrendered to the Kentucky Lab Rescue by her family, who claimed that she had been a wonderful dog and loved them very much, but they were moving and they didn’t feel like going through the effort of bringing her with them. Thankfully, after moving to the BGWC Humane Society, Dolly has found another family that appreciates her loving heart and she is on her way to her new forever home.
