There are two types of bullying, verbal and physical, and these two types have many different stages. School bullying is a problem at Greenwood High School, so I will be going over with you the six stages of verbal bullying, four stages of physical bullying, and how to deal with them.

Verbal Bullying

  1. Teasing you one or twice a month
  2. Teasing you one or twice a week
  3. Teasing you once or twice a day
  4. More than normal occasional teasing once or twice a day
  5. Making fun of you once a day or more
  6. Going out of their way just to make you feel bad

Verbal Bullying Solutions

  1. Try to ignore/avoid if not over stage 4 of verbal bullying
  2. Confront the bully
  3. Tell a parent, guardian, or someone you trust in general
  4. Tell a teacher or ask them for help

Physical Bullying

  1. Poking or Squeezing
  2. Nudging or Bumping
  3. Pushing or Shoving
  4. Punching or slapping

Physical Bullying Solutions

  1. Try to ignore/avoid if not over stage 1 of physical bullying
  2. Confront the bully if not over stage 2
  3. Ask a teacher or and a guardian for help
  4. If all else fails, stand up and defend yourself, take a stand
