Laughing Stock Of The NBA?

Laughing Stock Of The NBA?

By Horace Graham, Reporter

The Cavaliers have faced a lot of criticism. This was a team that passed every team in this East now they are at the bottom of the list. They lost there faith from fans when Lebron James decided to split ways with them in the off season. Kevin Love is hurt again and going into foot surgery putting him on the bench for about 6 weeks after signing his deal of 4 years worthy up too $140 millions dollars. All that money they spent on the Kevin, now Sales hit the lowest ever in the NBA. The sales were down to $2 one day which is the Cavaliers effect from the cause on shortage of fans.

Jr Smith was taking out of the normal rotation after coach Lue was fired. Could this mean a possible release of Jr after next season. You may wonder who would take his spot in the rotation from the Cavaliers because Kover isn’t who he was in the 2017 playoffs and Jordan Clarkson still hasn’t played how they need him too mentally. Collin Sexton their rookie drafted out of Alabama Crimson Tide in the 2018 class was as electric how everyone expected him to be and veterans of the Cavaliers say the rookies of the Cavaliers Have been struggling to start off and Tristan Thompson and others stating that Collin “doesn’t know how to play basketball”. This doesn’t mean he doesn’t really know how to but he doesn’t play as expected when he was drafted at a early role. JR smith will still get plenty of playing time but he may not be included in big moments. I believe the Cavaliers will have to make Huge moves like NFL coach Jon Gruden did in order to rebuild this team to be backs in the finals.

Tyronn Lue was fired close to the start of the season, which will mean they will have no game plan set up for the remainder of the season from the guy who coached to become #1 in the east 3 times in a row. They were depending on Lue and Lebron to coach for the past few years. Assistance coaches will have step up their game with the competition in the east or they will become the laughing stock of the NBA. Only time will tell for the Cavaliers.
