On Wednesday, May 23, Greenwood’s soon-to-be graduates went on a Senior Walk through the feeder schools. The seniors, dressed in their cap and gowns, walked through the halls of elementary schools, while kids congratulated them for the hard work they’ve put in throughout the years. Not only is this good for the seniors, but for the younger kids by showing them the goal they’re working towards.

A lot of the seniors enjoyed seeing their old teachers and the little kids. Anne-Claire said her favorite part of the day was walking through Cumberland Trace and having a little girl say, “Out of everyone, I think she’s my favorite!”

“It was a lot of fun to walk through and see how small everything was because when we were there it just seemed so big,” said
Greenwood’s Emma Brittenham.

“It was really cool to see all my old teachers and to see all the kids who will be in my shoes someday,” Rileigh Zimmerman reflected.

Even though everybody was hot and sweaty, we all really enjoyed doing this and hope they continue this. It really is a good experience to be able to walk through the elementary schools and remember the good times we all had together.
