URGENT/TIME-SENSITIVE ANNOUNCEMENTS

  •  All FFA members that sold enough fruit to attend the National FFA Machinery show need to stop by and get a medical permission form from Mr. Tipton.
  • Don’t miss your chance to pre-order a yearbook this year.  There will only be a limited number of extras ordered.   In order to guarantee yourself a yearbook, pre-orders must be made by Friday, February 24.  You may also purchase in Mrs. Ortiz’s room (room 322) anytime.  Also, the yearbook staff will be in the cafeteria selling book during lunch February 13th – 24th.
  • FFA members need to turn in their “Dodge Truck Tickets” as soon as you sell them.
  • A Capella will be performing at a concert Thursday night.  Prompt times for Men are @ 4:30, Women at @ 5:15
  • First rehearsal back for A Capella will be Wednesday, March 22 and will start after school and go until 4:00
  • Color Guard practice on Saturday, February 18 for anyone interested in learning to spin, flag, rifle, and saber.  The practice will be from 9am to 4pm in the band room.  Lunch will be provided.
  • STLP members may sign up for a State Event outside Mr. Dillingham’s room, STLP State is April 12th

INFO ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • A large number of students from last semester did not return their calculators. There are not enough for students who need them for math class this semester. Please return your calculators to Mrs. Cato room 302 by the end of this week!
  • Sign up to join and find out more info about the Kentucky United Nations Assembly (KUNA) outside of Mrs. Glass’ room
  • All-Sports Student passes are on sale now. Get yours for $35 from Mr. Dillingham or the office
  • PTSO are selling shirts in the front office. 
  • ILPs MUST be finished before the end of the year. Many of you are very close to completion and just need to log in to take the final survey. Please utilize SWAMP time to finish these so you do not have to miss reward time at the end of the year. Seniors, you cannot go on the senior field trip if your ILP is incomplete. Please see Mrs. Medley if you need login info.
  • Any student who may need some extra help in math, science, or English can receive in house peer tutoring during SWAMP on Thursdays. Please see Mrs. Medley if you are interested in being tutored or being a  peer tutor.

CONGRATULATIONS/THANKS TO . . .

  •  Congratulations to the following students who attended Beta Convention: Lexi Stewart – 2nd Place in Black and White Photography, Owen Mefford – 3rd Place in Creative Writing, Madeleine Wilson, Avery Witcher, Kelsey Dinning, Victoria Bucklew, and Rileigh Stivers-Zimmerman – 3rd Place in Scrapbooking, and Sierra Earnhart – Top Five in Special Talent.

ONGOING ANNOUNCEMENTS

  • ESS is held on Thursdays after school. If you need to take a test or be tutored make sure you turn your forms in by Noon on Thursday.  If you need a bus ride home after ESS then you need to sign up in guidance before Noon on Thursday also.
