Gators Bring Home Wins at State FBLA Convention

Many of Greenwood’s FBLA students attended the State Convention on April 17-19 in Louisville at the Galt House.  To attend this convention, the competitors had to place top three at the Regional Convention that took place on February 28, 2017.

The following students will be representing Greenwood at the State Convention:

While at the convention, the students had the opportunity to not only compete in their events, but to attend workshops instructed by guest speakers.  These workshops discussed business-related topics from leadership and working with others in the workforce to tips for listening and speaking with purpose.  This gave the students a chance to hear from experienced people in their specific field.

Greenwood brought home many national qualifiers, which will be held in Anaheim, California on June 29 – July 2.

Greenwood FBLA also won the largest percentage increase in local chapter membership and was 5th place un the largest chapter membership in the state.
